Two Men Face Charges In Connection With Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Assault

Two men have been charged related to a suitcase robbery where a believed to be pepper spray resulted in harm at the UK's busiest airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two robbery charges and charges for administering a noxious substance, as confirmed by court officials.

This legal action stems from an probe of an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their luggage taken after exiting a car park lift, police said.

A three-year-old girl was among those injured in the event. Five people required hospital care and were eventually allowed to go home.

This event – described by police as was isolated and not being treated as terrorism – led to train delays and the temporary blocking of the main airport road tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a brief period.
