Tributes Pour In for Rob and Michele Reiner as Autopsy Reports Remain Under Wraps.

Well beyond 14 days subsequent to the heartbreaking passing of renowned film director Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, peers and loved ones persist in remembering the duo.

‘Life is Pain Without You’: Cary Elwes Pays Tribute to His Director

Posting on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who rose to fame in Reiner's iconic movie *The Princess Bride*, stated he finally felt able to share openly about his profound loss.

"Adequate time has gone by that I can at last express my sorrow into words," posted Elwes, adding that his first meeting with Reiner left him smitten. "Once we started sharing more moments together I realized this was someone I desired in my life."

The actor uploaded never-before-seen clips from the movie, remarking that he doesn't recollect "one day without mirth".

"The movie is about love, loyalty and sacrifice. Principles that Rob cherished deeply. That is part of the many reasons he was the best person to helm it," Elwes wrote.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, saying: "Asserting that they were a formidable pair would be an oversimplification. My heart still pangs every time I recall you." He finished with a phrase from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but living is anguish without you."

Martin Scorsese Reflects on a Colleague and Comrade

In a distinct piece, legendary director Martin Scorsese paid homage to Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"From the start, I loved spending time with Rob. We had a instant connection for each other. He was very funny and sometimes acutely humorous, but he was never the kind of guy who would dominate the room," Scorsese said.

Scorsese highlighted Reiner's supporting role in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, playing the father of the protagonist.

"His improvisation skills with the best. He was a virtuoso at comedy, he worked seamlessly with everyone, and he understood the emotional dilemma of his character," Scorsese noted.

Legal Developments: Autopsy Reports Sealed

In a new development, a Los Angeles court official agreed to prevent the publication of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, after an appeal from the local authorities.

A court order issued a security hold on the investigation to limit the public release of "related notes, evidence and photographs" pertaining to the active case.

The relevant authority had already determined their deaths were the outcome of foul play, with a record listing the cause as "multiple sharp force injuries".

Response and Criticism

In the wake of the deaths, public figures shared divergent responses.

Ex-President Donald Trump commented on the matter, making controversial claims that were widely condemned by many public figures.

Podcaster Joe Rogan lent his criticism to the detractors recently. Conversing on his podcast, Rogan labeled the statements as "shocking" and suggested they showed a worrisome deficiency of sympathy.

Rogan ended by remarking that an adviser could have intervened when the choice to weigh in on the tragedy was made.
