Close to Ninety Air Travels Linked to Jeffrey Epstein Allegedly Came to or from British Airports

A review has found that close to 90 flights linked to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein are said to have arrived at and departed from British airfields, with some reportedly carrying British women who allege they were victimized by the found guilty sex offender.

Flight Logs Reveal Trail of Travel

The travel manifests were among thousands of legal papers and files released by Epstein’s estate that have been disclosed over the last year. The analysis found 87 flights connected to Epstein – featuring many that were hitherto undisclosed – landing or taking off from UK airports between the start of the 1990s and 2018.

Onboard Individuals and After Guilty Verdict Flights

Unnamed women were listed among the individuals entering and exiting the UK. Significantly, 15 of these British airport journeys happened following Epstein’s 2008 guilty verdict for soliciting sex from a child.

“It was ‘shocking’ that there had never been a ‘thorough probe in the UK’ into his dealings in the country,” said US lawyers representing hundreds of Epstein victims.

UK Survivors and Legal Proceedings

A statement from one of the British victims was instrumental in convicting Epstein’s accomplice socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking of minors in the US in 2021. However, that individual has not received any contact by British law enforcement, as stated by her Florida-based lawyer.

In a statement, the Metropolitan police indicated they had “not been provided with any new evidence that would support reopening the probe.” They commented, “Should new and relevant information be brought to our attention, including any resulting from the release of documents in the US, we will evaluate it.”

Ongoing Document Release and Legal Rulings

A bill to disclose every document held by the US government in regarding Epstein was approved by the House and Senate last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to adhere to this requirement. Hundreds of thousands of documents are expected to be released.

In a related development, a US judge decided last week that the DOJ could publicly release case files from a trafficking prosecution against Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime confidante, who is serving a 20-year jail term over the allegations.
